Antonella Puca, CPA/ABV, CFA

Antonella specializes in the valuation of private equity and venture-backed companies for financial and tax reporting, M&A transactions, buy-sell agreements, estate planning and ligitation purposes. With more than 20 years of experience in the alternative investment industry, Antonella has particular expertise in providing valuation of high growth companies and complex securities at fair value to private equity, venture capital and hedge funds, including the use of option pricing models and Monte Carlo Simulation.  

Antonella has been qualified as an expert witness in the State of California. She has served on the Business Valuation Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as a member of the research committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), as a director and treasurer of the Board of the CFA Society of New York and as a Director at CFA Institute. She is an instructor in the AICPA Business Valuation training program and a consultant on the CFA exam development team. Prior to BleuVal, Antonella has held positions at various valuation advisory firms, KPMG, E&Y and RSM in San Francisco and New York.

Antonella is the author of Early Stage Valuation (Wiley: 2020) and a frequent presenter and author on valuation and alternative investment topics. She has received the 2021 Volunteer of the Year Award – Valuation Services of the AICPA. Antonella graduated cum laude in Economics at the University Federico II of Naples, Italy and has a Master in Law Studies – Taxation from the NYU School of Law. Read more at www.bluevalgroup.com.
